Utopia

Mixed media installation with a sanded down book, pedestal and viewer participation, 2004

Installation view. The pedestal is 2ftx2ftx4ft. One side butts up to the wall. The other side 1ft away from the adjacent wall. The miniature sculpture is 1/2in x 1/2in x 2in and is installed at the edge of pedestal.

Only when the viewer sticks his/her head to the back of the miniature sculpture, would he/she see the back of the thing which reveals the nature of it.
