I did two pieces for the show. One is a live performance entitled "Now You Go Up" during the opening. The second one is an installation entitled "Utopia".

  Now You Go Up!
Performance at the opening of "The End of the Dream", MicaMoca project berlin, e.V., 2011

A white cloth was pushed out of a second-floor window in a tenative way (white flag?). Then I came out of the window to the balcony, with a live pigion on my shoulder, wings spread sometimes. I proceeded to put a piece of white paper wing on each of the bird's wings. Then I proclaimed "Now you go up!" and started to climb the ladders with the bird on my back, sometimes airbourne as if to carry me up, while at the same time I was carrying it up. As I climbed, I drew the white cape longer and longer with me, traversing the height of the three-flights of ladders. At the top balcony, I pushed down the cape. Then I proclaimed, "NOW you go up!" at which point, the bird flew up while breaking away from the paper wings; and the fabric fell down and revealed the white fabric ladder.
