Group Stand Performance at the opening of "Nomadic Settlers, Settled Nomads", Kunstraum Kreuzberg / Bethanien, Berlin, 2011. Duration: 3 hours. While people gathered in small groups at the opening, I quietly positioned myself among each group. I stood quietly without any active engagement with the group, although I was obviously in their social space. I remained in that position until a member of the group acknowledged me, or when the group disbanded, upon which I moved onto the next group. |
