Drawing with hummingbirds

Two little hummingbirds were hatched from eggs in a nest in my backyard. One day, they both flew away. Out of nostalgia, I put a wood panel under the tree where the nest was. Shadows of the nest and surrounding branches and leaves are cast on the board.
Some of the branches and leaves around the nest are traced.
Those traced-lines are duplicated.
This process was repeated until the lines reached the four edges. Finally, an image of two hummingbirds was transferred on top of the drawing.
